Red Sox Agree to Deals With Two Free Agents
The Boston Red Sox have reached an agreement with free agent pitcher Brad Penny and offered a non guaranteed contract worth $1.6 million to free agent catcher Josh Bard.
Penny, battling shoulder and arm issues last season, posted a 6-7 record with an era over six (6.27).
